KSD301 Auto Reset vs Manual Reset Types
Manual Reset Type
Temperature sensing components consist of bimetallic strip. When temperature reaches the action range, it quickly disconnects. The contact point cannot reset until the circuit is reconnected by pushing the reset button when temperature declines to a fixed point.
Note: 1. This type can reset when temperature declines 20°C after snap action by pressing the reset button (4~6 N force recommended). 2. For normal function, maintain at least 20.4mm distance between reset button and close cover.
Auto Reset Type
Temperature sensing components consist of bimetallic strip. When temperature reaches the action range, it quickly disconnects. The contact point automatically resets when temperature declines to a fixed point.
