The 17AM thermal protector is an excess-current protector with compact design, quick and accurate action. It can be customized with different types of leads according to customer requirements.

Temperature sensing components consist of bimetallic strip. When temperature reaches the action range, it will disconnect quickly. The contact point cannot reset automatically - it requires manual reset by pushing the reset button when temperature declines by 20°C.
