KSD302 Auto Reset vs Manual Reset Types
Manual Reset Type
Temperature sensing components consist of bimetallic strip. When temperature reaches the action range, it quickly disconnects. The contact point cannot reset automatically - it requires manual reset by pushing the reset button when temperature declines by 20°C (4-6N force recommended). Ensure at least 20.4mm clearance between reset button and cover.
Auto Reset Type
Temperature sensing components consist of bimetallic strip. When temperature reaches the action range, it quickly disconnects. The contact point automatically resets when temperature declines to the specified point.
