BH-B2D Series Thermostat Principle and Structure
BH-B2D series thermal protectors provide protection against over-current and over-temperature conditions. They feature a sealed construction, small internal resistance, no noise generation, and automatic reset functionality. When current flows through the temperature and current-sensitive bimetal element, the bimetal changes state in response to over-temperature or over-current conditions, either cutting off or switching on the circuit. BH series protectors are safer than standard protectors, as they eliminate temperature effect lag under sudden high-current conditions.

BH series thermal protectors are effective, reliable security protection and alarm devices widely used in various applications including 1.5 horsepower motors, lighting devices, inverter welding machines, switch power supplies, rechargeable battery packs, fluorescent lamp ballasts, portable power tools, electric appliances, and other electrical equipment. They prevent damage caused by over-current and over-heating resulting from abnormal operating conditions. Enforced types that can withstand pressure of 3.5MPa are suitable for built-in installation in plastic coated motors.
