The KSD series thermostat operates on the principle of a bimetallic disc that snaps into action when temperature changes occur. This snap action activates internal contacts, either opening or closing the circuit. Key characteristics include fixed working temperature, reliable snap action, minimal flashover, extended lifespan, and reduced radio interference.
