The H20 and H21 series universal and enhanced protectors feature large metal casings composed of thermal conductive metal casing, bimetallic parts welded with silver alloy contact points, conductive bracket, insulation fixation stand, fixed contact strip, and heat resistance cable. In case of abnormal operation, when the environment temperature increases to the set value, the bimetallic parts perform quick action to open the contact point and disconnect the circuit. When cooled to safe operating temperature, the contact point automatically closes to restore normal operation.

Manual Reset Type Operation

Temperature sensing components consist of bimetallic strip. When temperature reaches the action range, it quickly jumps to disconnect. When temperature declines to a fixed point, the contact point cannot reset until the circuit is reconnected by pushing the reset button.

Note:
  1. Manual reset thermostats can reset when temperature declines 20°C after snap action by pressing the reset button (4-6N force recommended).
  2. For normal function, maintain at least 20.4mm distance between reset button and close cover.
