The KSD302 temperature protector operates on the principle of bimetal discs that snap into action when sensing temperature changes. This snap action activates the contacts through the internal structure, ultimately connecting or disconnecting the circuit. Key features include fixed working temperature, reliable snap action, minimal flashover, extended working life, and reduced radio interference.

Temperature sensing components consist of bimetallic strip. When temperature reaches the action range, it snaps quickly and the movable disc disconnects. When temperature declines to a fixed point, the contact cannot reset automatically. The circuit must be reconnected by pushing the reset button to restore contact points and restart the circuit.

• This type can reset when temperature declines 20°C after snap action by pressing reset button
• Apply 4-6 N force; avoid using excessive strength
• Ensure distance between reset button and close cover is not less than 20.4mm for normal function
