The KSD series thermostat operates on the principle of bimetallic discs that snap into action when temperature changes occur. This snap action activates internal contacts to open or close the circuit. Key features include fixed working temperature, reliable snap action, minimal flashover, extended lifespan, and reduced radio interference.

KSD303 Auto Reset vs Manual Reset Types

Manual Reset Type: Uses bimetallic strip temperature sensing. When temperature reaches the action range, the disc snaps open to disconnect. Requires manual reset button press to reconnect after temperature decreases by 20°C from snap action point.

Note: Apply 4~6 N force when resetting. Maintain at least 20.4mm clearance between reset button and cover for proper function.

Auto Reset Type: Uses bimetallic strip that automatically reconnects when temperature decreases to the reset point.
