The KSD series thermostat operates on the principle of bimetal discs that snap into action when temperature changes occur. This snap action activates the internal contacts, ultimately connecting or disconnecting the circuit. Key features include fixed working temperature settings, reliable snap action, minimal flashover, extended operational lifespan, and reduced radio interference.

Manual Reset Type: Temperature sensing is achieved through bimetallic strips. When temperature reaches the action range, the mechanism snaps quickly and the movable disc disconnects. The contacts cannot reset automatically when temperature decreases to the fixed point; instead, the circuit must be manually reconnected by pressing the reset button to restore contact functionality.

Auto Reset Type: Utilizes bimetallic strip temperature sensing components. When temperature reaches the action range, the mechanism snaps quickly and the movable disc disconnects. When temperature decreases to the fixed point, the contact point automatically resets and resumes operation without manual intervention.
