H21 H20 Technical Documentation

H20, H21 series universal and enhanced protectors with large metal casing are composed of thermal conductive metal casing, bimetallic parts welded with silver alloy contact point, conductive bracket, insulation fixation stand, fixed contact strip and heat resistance cable.

In case of abnormal operation, when environment temperature increases to the set value, the bimetallic parts perform quick action, open the contact point, and disconnect the circuit. When the device cools to safe operating temperature, the contact point automatically closes and normal operation resumes.

H20, H21 series is applicable to chargeable batteries, ballasts, massagers, micro motors, transformers, electric tools, heat electric appliances and instruments.

Manual Reset Type: Temperature sensing components consist of bimetallic strip. When temperature reaches the action range, it jumps quickly and the movable disc disconnects. When temperature declines to a fixed point, the contact point cannot reset until reconnecting the circuit by pushing the reset button.

Important Notes:

• Manual reset thermostats can reset when temperature declines 20°C after snap action by pressing reset button with 4-6 N force
• Do not use excessive force
• Ensure normal function by maintaining minimum 20.4mm distance between reset button and close cover
