This snap action activates the contacts through the internal structure, ultimately opening or closing the circuit. Key characteristics include fixed working temperature, reliable snap action, minimal flashover, extended working life, and reduced radio interference.

KSD301 Auto Reset vs Manual Reset Types
Manual Reset Type: Temperature sensing components consist of bimetallic strip. When temperature reaches the action range, it snaps quickly and the movable disc disconnects. When temperature declines to a fixed point, the contact cannot reset until the reset button is pressed to reconnect the circuit.
Important Notes: 1. This manual reset thermostat can reset when temperature declines 20°C after snap action by pressing the reset button. Apply 4~6 N force; avoid excessive strength. 2. To ensure normal function, the distance between reset button and close cover should not be less than 20.4mm.
Auto Reset Type: Temperature sensing components consist of bimetallic strip. When temperature reaches the action range, it snaps quickly and the movable disc disconnects. When temperature declines to a fixed point, the contact automatically resets and resumes operation.
